NISI 95MM TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO PRO NANO 1-5 STOP VARIABLE NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTER
The 1-5 stops of the NiSi True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano Variable ND offers an exposure reduction of 1 to 5 stops and can be mounted onto lenses with 95mm front filter holes. The entire image is darkened by the 0.3 to 1.5 density, enabling slower shutter speeds or wider apertures than are typically possible. Rotating the front filter ring, either with or without the supplied silver lever, allows you to easily alter the degree of density, assisting you in calculating the additional exposure time needed.
You may more readily express movement by controlling the depth of field by adjusting your exposure duration or aperture. The smooth transition of density enables the photographer or videographer to precisely adjust exposure duration to the amount needed for a scene.
The front ring is prominently labelled with numbers that represent the various stop values for simpler, consistent control over density settings. The ring has silver side knurlings for a firm grip and simple putting on and taking off. When paired with an aperture adjustment, this filter allows users of cinema or video cameras to fine-tune the depth of field while maintaining the desired frame rate.
In contrast to other Variable filters, the Variable ND offers True Color, which prevents color shift.
The 1-5 stops of the NiSi True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano
High-definition optical glass is used in the construction of variable ND for maximum quality and resolution.
To prevent ghosting and reflections, the glass is coated with a NiSi Nano coating that is waterproof, oil-proof, and anti-reflective.
A extremely light and robust filter is produced by using an aluminum filter ring of the highest grade.
We advise using our variable ND range with focal lengths of 35mm and greater.
Note: This filter's front filter thread is bigger at 55mm to prevent vignetting on wider lenses.
