Additionally, for photographers that need more reach, this lens is also compatible with the FUJINON GF1.4X TC WR, a 1.4x teleconverter which provides an extended focal length range without deterioration in image quality.

• Silent and High-Speed Autofocus - The linear motor which drives the focus elements is accurate, quiet, and fast. The lens also includes a new mechanism for securing the linear motor into position when turning the power off on the camera or during image playback. This prevents the lens elements from moving unnecessarily when the lens is not in use.
• Ultra-High Image Quality - The lens is made up of 20 elements in 13 groups. This includes two super ED lenses and one aspherical lens which assists in minimizing the chromatic and field curvature aberrations that can occur within the image.
