The Leica M11 camera is built with a full-frame BSI CMOS sensor and exclusive Triple Resolution Technology. This means content creators can customize each image’s resolution to fit what works for them. Raw image files in DNG and JPEG format can be recorded at 60, 36 or 18 megapixels — always using the full sensor area. This is all while maintaining crisp image quality and detail resolution, as the lower resolutions allow for faster camera performance, extended burst lengths, and smaller files.
The Leica M11 also offers an optional electronic shutter featuring shutter speeds up to 1/16,000 of a second. With delivery like that, a photographer can feel confident working with wide open apertures in bright light without the need of ND filters. The controls of the Leica M11 camera have been carefully arranged in a layout next to the 2.3 million pixels high-resolution touchscreen. The menu structure is consistent with the Leica SL2 and Q2 to allow for a user-friendly experience.
