Nikon Z5IIC Mirrorless Camera (Black)

The black Nikon Z5IIC is a full-frame mirrorless camera for still photography and video, with a compact, flat-top body designed around rear-screen composition rather than an electronic viewfinder. Its single SD card slot and streamlined design suit everyday photography, travel, and family events. This body-only configuration lets you choose a NIKKOR Z lens for your preferred subjects or continue using compatible lenses you already own.

A 24.5MP FX-format BSI CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 processor support detailed images, AI-powered autofocus, and full-resolution bursts at up to 30 fps. The native ISO range of 100–64000 extends to ISO 50–204800 for additional exposure flexibility. Compared with similarly sized cameras with smaller sensors, the full-frame design offers advantages in low-light imaging and depth-of-field control.

Subject-detection autofocus recognizes 10 subject types, including people, animals, birds, and vehicles, with a dedicated mode for aquatic life. In Auto-Area AF, the camera can identify, focus on, and follow recognized subjects as they move through the frame, helping with spontaneous moments and action.

Pre-Release Capture helps preserve action that happens just before you fully press the shutter. When enabled, a half-press starts buffering frames at up to 30 fps, retaining as much as one second of images before the full press.

Five-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction provides up to 5 stops of stabilization for handheld shooting, reaching up to 7.5 stops with compatible lenses. It helps reduce camera-movement blur in low light, concert photography, long exposures, and slow-shutter action. Electronic VR is also available to smooth handheld video.

• - Record UHD 4K at up to 60 fps or Full HD at up to 120 fps. - Video tools include a self-timer, electronic VR, and recording times of up to two hours. - Save footage to the camera's SD card or an optional external recorder through HDMI. - Produce finished UHD 4K time-lapse movies directly in the camera.

For more involved video workflows, the camera supports 12-bit N-RAW at resolutions up to 4032 × 2268 and 10-bit H.265 in N-Log. Free RED LUTs offer additional styling options. Product Review mode and software-free live web streaming add tools for online content creation.

The top-mounted Picture Control button opens 31 built-in presets, including in Auto mode. Preview their color treatments on the rear LCD before shooting, or use Nikon Imaging Cloud to download Creator Recipes from other Nikon photographers and add them to your available looks.

A 3.2-inch vari-angle touchscreen supports live view, image playback, touch focus, and camera control. Its adjustable position makes it easier to frame from high, low, or unusual angles. The EVF-free flat-top profile is designed for photographers and creators who prefer working from the rear screen.

• - Warm Display Colors changes display information from white to red to reduce screen brightness and help preserve night vision. - Starlight View improves visibility in near-dark conditions, including astrophotography. - A front recording light provides a visible indication that video recording is underway.

USB-C supports camera charging and USB Power Delivery, while micro-HDMI provides external recording and live viewing. The headphone jack also accepts Nikon's optional MC-DC3 Remote Release Cord. SnapBridge, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Wi-Fi connect the camera to compatible smart devices for image transfer and remote operation, including shutter release and live-view monitoring.

The Nikon Z mount supports NIKKOR Z lenses ranging from compact primes and everyday zooms to telephoto and specialty optics. Its large-diameter design is intended to support light gathering and image quality across the frame, giving you room to tailor the system for portraits, landscapes, street photography, wildlife, or video.

The supplied EN-EL15c rechargeable battery and USB-C-to-USB-C cable support power and compatible connection workflows. An AN-DC26 strap is included for carrying, along with a BF-N1 body cap to protect the lens mount when no lens is attached and a BS-1 cover for the accessory shoe during storage and transport.
