The zoom speed of the DC motor can be finely adjusted in a stepless manner via a dial to provide both rapid zoom action and smooth, low-speed zooming. It is also equipped with a 20-pin port making it compatible with Canon cinema and broadcast lens accessories. The Power Zoom Adapter attaches directly to the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens, and draws power from the camera, through contacts on the lens - no batteries are in the PZ-E2B unit.

Excellent Operability
Easily attach and detach the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B without the use of a special tool. Simply line up the positioning pins with the sockets on the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens and turn the mounting screws to fasten the adapter. The placement was designed so it can be attached or detached even while the lens is combined with a rig, gimbal, or tripod so you can keep your production rolling. A thumb rest attachment is also included for additional hand-held comfort.
Supports Various Shooting Styles
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B can be used in various ways depending on the videographer's shooting style or system configuration. Manual operation of zooming is achieved using the switches on the main unit, camera-side operation is possible via assigning custom buttons, controller operation via the 20-pin port, or remote operation via Canon EOS Utility software or Camera Connect app.
Supports PD-E1 Power Adapter
The PD-E1 Power Adapter (sold separately) enables high-speed zoom mode on the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B via the USB type C port, with select EOS camera models. It also lowers the power supply demand on the camera, allowing for longer shoots.
20-pin Port Connection
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B is equipped with a 20-pin port, making it compatible with accessories for cinema or broadcast lenses. This enables the use of zoom servo grips and zoom or focus demands that videographers may routinely utilize for movie shooting.
