The Saramonic SR-R1 is a tiny belt-pack stereo MicroSD recorder that can capture audio in broadcast quality with a resolution of up to 24-Bit. It has a lockable 3.5mm input for Mic or Line-Level audio in Mono or Stereo and is incredibly small and light. It comes with the premium DK3A lavalier, which records voices at a high quality. It may record line-level output from a mixer, computer, smartphone, or music player, or it can be used in conjunction with a stereo lavalier for two-person recordings. It has a headphone output, supports up to a 128GB MicroSD Card, and can be powered by AAA or USB-C. (8GB card included).

The SR-R1 tiny belt pack recorder's ability to record mic- or line-level audio in Mono or Stereo and to supply plug-in power to microphones makes it stand out from other recorders. Because of this, the recorder is incredibly adaptable and can capture almost any audio source. For two-person recording, you can use the bundled Saramonic DK3A premium lavalier or connect a mini-shotgun mic, a headset mic, or a stereo lavalier. With its adjustable 5-stage mic volume and 4-stage low-cut filter control (flat, 80, 120, and 160Hz), just about any 3.5mm microphone wired for standard TRS pin-out will operate. You can record the output of mixers, computers, smartphones, music players, or any other line-level device by switching to line-level.

The DK3A Lavalier that comes with the recorder will provide excellent sound if you just clip the recorder to your subject or drop the recorder where you wish to capture audio. But it goes further than that. For interviews with two people, add a stereo lavalier. To record remotely or to a DJ's mixer at a wedding, connect it to a portable mixer. It can be dropped on a stage with a stereo mic on a stand or attached to a boom pole and connected to a shotgun. Even cameras without microphone inputs can use it by clipping it to a shoe mount.

Additionally, it has an LED display with a simple-to-use menu system that makes it possible to rapidly set up and make modifications. Up to 24-bit/44.1kHz recording resolution is configurable. With user-selectable file restrictions of 5, 10, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, it supports MicroSD Cards up to 128GB in size. Additionally, it may be powered by a single AAA battery (5 hours) or by a USB-C power source or battery pack (DC5V).

The DK3A lavalier that is supplied is designed specifically for dialogue; it offers a crisp, full-frequency response and improved vocal intelligibility. Its omnidirectional polar pattern offers 360-degrees of sound pickup and is perfect for recording realistic-sounding speech for a variety of applications, including interviews and speech. It is little (just 4mm in diameter) and disappears when tucked beneath garments, in hair, or on costumes. For a full accessory bundle, there are also 2 alligator-styled mic clips, 1 metal mesh windscreen, 2 foam windscreens, 2 high-wind furry windscreens, and 1 reusable cable tie.
