“Very useful zoom range, razor sharp right from maximum aperture, at every focal lenght, IS almost unreal, hard to imagine how could it be better… Of course, it is not perfect (heavy by mft standards, not too fast, expensive), but I never heard of a perfect lens. Like any other photographic tool, it has positive and negative sides, one just has to adapt and make the most of this near perfect travel companion. If you find yourself in situations when you don’t want to change lenses, the usefness of such zoom will be obvious. If you don’t need that long reach, the Zuiko 12-40, f: 2.8 is faster, lighter, less expensive and, in my experience, equally sharp and more comfortable on smaller bodies.”
