Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.0 Aspherical MC Lens
The Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.0 Aspherical MC Lens is a bright, stylish, normal-length prime M-mount lens distinguished by its quick focus and traditional rendering. The brilliant f/1.0 maximum aperture is ideal for working in low light and gives you more control over the depth of field when employing selective focus to isolate subjects.
Due to the high melting point of the high-refraction glass, which cannot be employed in the mold production method, making the aspherical front element is more difficult than making a normal mold aspherical lens. It is feasible to streamline the lens design while maintaining great performance even when shooting with a wide-open aperture by grinding and polishing the aspherical front element.
The wide f/1.0 aperture gives photos a surreal feel. Sharpness is maintained throughout its focus and aperture range, and its 12 blades give the lens a smooth, circular appearance. This lens has a sturdy, all-metal construction and a traditional black finish, but it still has a small enough form factor to not block most viewfinders.
